Bedfellows

A companion-planting roguelite. Live

Plant seeds on a small garden bed, where every crop scores from what grows beside it. Corn does better between beans and squash, basil helps the tomatoes, and a tomato beside a potato drags both down. Each round is five short days with a harvest target to reach. Clear all twelve and you have grown a whole garden year.

How it plays

๐ŸŒฝ

Placement is the game

Each seed has one rule about what grows near it: the Three Sisters, basil by the tomatoes, onions to hide the carrots. Where you plant matters as much as what.

๐Ÿ—“๏ธ

Short seasons, one year a run

Four seasons of three rounds, five days a round. Reach each round's target or the run ends. A round takes a couple of minutes.

๐ŸŒฑ

The bed carries over

Soil, slow crops and perennials stay from round to round, so you plan for the year. When winter comes, frost takes the tender crops.

๐Ÿงบ

A market between rounds

Spend what you earn on seeds, tools and one-off supplies, grow the bed from 4ร—4 to 6ร—6, or take a card out of your seed bag.

๐Ÿ

Real gardening

Companion pairs, nitrogen-fixing beans, frost-tender crops and in-season harvests: the rules come from how gardens actually behave.

๐Ÿ”

Every point explained

Pick a seed and every empty square shows what it would score there. Tap a crop and its harvest is broken down step by step.

Why it's different

Most farming games are about waiting: plant, come back later, collect. Bedfellows is about space. A small bed, a handful of seeds and a short year turn every planting into a decision, and a whole run fits in one sitting. It replaced FocusFarm, our earlier farming game, at the same address.

Privacy and data

Bedfellows has no accounts and sends nothing anywhere: your garden is saved on your device and nowhere else. If you had a FocusFarm account, its data is still held until you ask us to delete it. The pages below say what that data is and how to remove it.
